Marsha Pearce is a scholar, educator and independent curator. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies. Dr. Pearce teaches Visual Arts, and serves as Deputy Dean of Distance and Outreach, at the Faculty of Humanities and Education, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Her research and critical writings about visual culture have been published in several art catalogues, academic journals and books. Her curatorial projects include collaborations with the Pérez Art Museum Miami, National Portrait Gallery London and the British Council.
